MONTHLY UPDATE - JUly/August 2018

"Sometimes you remember your life in photographs that were never taken", Scottish poet Jackie Kay said. Is she right? We still remember the sun and the water, the air and the fragrance. But summers end is coming. We tried to keep something alive in our photographs. We kept us running. We invite you to take a look back with us.

WHAT WE DID

Charlotte - Året book

In the month of June Charlotte participated in the book project Året København. The project 'Året' is a monthly photobook publication featuring contemporary works by Danish photographers portraying the city of Copenhagen during 2018. The project is initiated by the Danish publisher Blankt Papir. In July Blank Papir held a vernissage of the book at the gallery Butikken in Copenhagen.

Kasper - Salt

In August Kasper took the work on his project Salt into an important fase. Earlier this year he was chosen as a participant on the ISSP 2018 workshop ‘Photo Book as object’ with Yumi Goto and Jan Rosseel in Latvia.

With him he brought the material that has so far been the skeleton of the project, but also a lot of new material and b-selections. The outcome is the first book dummy for Salt. Stay updated for the next steps on making this book reality.
